May 14 - 16PEEC Digital Weekend

Deleware Water Gap National Recreation Area

Join me at the Pocono Environmental Educational Center (PEEC) in the beautiful Pocono Mountains for a digital photography weekend. We will explore spring scenes and wildflowers while learning the practical, easy way, to utilize the tools digital photography has brought. This weekend workshop will include both field shooting and "laptop Learning".

There will be opportunity for those who bring their own laptop to practice the digital techniques we learn in the classroom. This workshop is perfect for those who are making the transition to digital, or for those who would like to reinforce their skills and learn some new techniques. We will do quite a bit of shooting, and ultimately learn to balance the digital with our creativity.

June 12 - 18Early Summer on the Rhode Island Coast

Rhode Island, USA

The Rhode Island coast is an incredible place to explore the light, texture and lines of the rugged New England coast. We will visit beaches, tide pools, shoreline, lighthouses, and unique coastal buildings. From small critters to grand landscapes, and authentic working harbors, there is a great diversity of subjects within easy walking distance on the laid back Rhode Island coast. We will be staying in Narragannset and traveling along the coast.

Tuition is $700, a $100 deposit is due upon sign-up. Room and food are not included in the cost.

September 11 - 17The Grand Tetons in Late Summer

The Grand Teton National Park includes some of the countries most iconic and spectacular landscape. With the Teton Range rising sharply from the shores of Jenny and Jackson Lake, we will explore the various macro, landscape, and wildlife photo opportunities here. Our week will combine location photography with individual attention both in the classroom and in the field.

October 3 - 9Fall Foliage in Southern Vermont

Visit incredible southern Vermont for this autumn workshop. We will be inspired by the beauty that this area provides while working on the latest digital techniques. Topics like digital montaging, layers, color correction, and the RAW work-flow will be discussed during our classroom time, with opportunity for practice and one-on-one instruction.

Photographic opportunities abound in the beautiful Green Mountain Forest. Rolling streams, falling leaves, and the magic of rural mountains provide a classic New England backdrop for a variety of subjects. Whether your a macro enthusiast, or a scenic person, there is something for everyone.

Tuition: $900, a $100 deposit is due upon sign-up.

Tuition includes the price of gourmet meals served during the workshop. Lodging is not included.

The ocean meets weather worn pink granite shores along the rugged Maine Coast. Autumn is an amazing time of celebration and transformation here. We will explore both the inland and coastal regions of this wonderful area. Opportunities include macro, landscape, reflections, fishing harbors and much more. This week long workshop will balance shooting in the field when the light is good, with classroom instruction and support when the light is not at its peak.
